Thatcher's One!

Thatcher is turning 1 on November 24! Where did a year go? He is almost walking and is currently cutting his 6th tooth. He is a busy guy and we are sooooo thankful that he is part of our family! We LOVE you Thatcher! Happy Birthday!

A Cowboy and His Horse

Brenton was a cowboy and Thatcher was a horse for Halloween. Brenton was so excited to have his costume on that getting a picture turned out to be quite a chore. Even though it was cold and rainy, Brenton loved trick or treating and understood clearly how it all worked. The biggest problem has been keeping him out of the candy today!

The Fruit and Berry Patch

Last Friday, we went to the Fruit and Berry Patch with Michael's class. Brenton got to feed sheep, pick a pumpkin, explore a corn maze and drink some yummy apple cider. It was a great trip, and Thatcher even loved it too! While we will there, Thatcher decided to let go of Michael's hands and stand all by himself (for several seconds:-)

Jack-O-Lantern

When Michael asked Brenton what kind of face he wanted his jack-o-lantern to have, Brenton replied, "A mad face." While the face wasn't really "mad" Brenton still loved it! Although when Michael started to carve the face, Brenton said, "Scary," and ran away (see picture).

Just a Swingin'

Last weekend, we spent the entire Saturday (literally 10 hours) putting up Brenton and Thatcher's new playset that came early for Christmas. Although it was long work, it was worth every minute to see them playing and laughing!

Adventures with Thatcher

Thatcher is 11 months old and on the move! We can hardly keep up with him! From getting into Jack's water bowl to climbing on the dishwasher door to rolling the toilet paper off to eating paper, Thatcher has one "adventure" after another. He is pulling up, starting to walk holding our hands, and climbing on EVERYTHING! He is finally finger feeding himself more, but doesn't really appreciate squishy things. He had his first egg (yoke) last week and ate a few bites, but most ended up in his highchair or in his hair.

Big Boy Bed

A year after ordering the rail for Brenton's bed, he finally climbed out of his crib. We converted it to a toddler bed and ordered new bedding. Brenton loves it and he does really well staying in his bed (most of the time)!
